I know some of you guys might be having trouble finding content to share online so I thought I’d “share” this quick tip with you.

So why exactly do you need content to share?

Well a lot of the stuff you do online to promote yourself will be through social media, Facebook in particular. Social media as a whole is creating massive traffic for a lot of marketers but Facebook is probably going to be your best area to focus on. Yea I know, Google+ is doing pretty darn good too, but Facebook seems to be consistently creating tons new accounts day after day no mater who they’re up against.

I should probably get back to my point, this isn’t about how cool Facebook is.

Anyway…It’s important to share as much of your own personal content as you can to help brand yourself and drive traffic, but it’s also good to share Other People’s content. By sharing other people’s content it free up more of your time to create Your Own content while still staying active on those social network sites. You can also share other facebook users content which will benefit you and others in sooo many ways, but thats another story.

So check out the video and find out how you can have free content being sent to you instead of going out and hunting down stuff to share.

Take care guys,
Charles

I promised you a tutorial about how to install an HTML5 video player onto your site and here it is! Actually the video player I’m using for this video is the new HTML5 player, so this will give you an idea of what it will look like on your site.

Now like I mentioned before, make sure to try the WordPress plugin first because it might actually work for your blog, but if it doesn’t then I’ll show you how to go the manual route. This process is fairly simple but I understand how overwhelming it can seem when you take a look at something like this for the first time.

Also keep in mind that this is a Quick tutorial, the in-depth version is inside my Video Newsletter and it goes a lot deeper, so be sure to check that out if you need more details.

Alright, enjoy.

Charles

P.S. Sorry about the video size, I just realized that it’s kinda hard to see so I’ll make note of that for future videos.

Hey did you hear that flash is a thing of the past?!

Well I guess not totally but it does sound like we’re on the forefront of a new age for the way we view videos and animated graphics on the web. I was reading the Adobe Blog site and apparently flash works crappy on mobile devices so HTML5 is the new king.

I did some research and found a few HTML5 video players but none of them were free! So I kept digging and I found this really nice player that’s open source and it looks really awesome! They have a WordPress plugin for this one on their site so I suggest going that route first. But if for some reason it doesn’t work on your blog (like it’s not working on mine) then keep an eye out for my next blog post where I’ll show you how to install it on your site.

Take care guys and have an awesome day!

I’ve done several things the wrong way and made my share of mistakes in this business, and looking back on everything I probably could have achieved so much more if I avoided these mistakes. But it taught me a lot about internet business and I’m some what glad that I had the chance to experience these things so I was able to grow.

So instead of beating myself up over this I decided to share these mistakes with you guys so you can hopefully avoid them and move your success along a lot faster.

This video is a little different then the rest. I did a little camera trickery to help make it more fun, and I also messed up a lot while shooting. I’ve decided that since the Internet is so socially generated, I’m no longer going to pick at making my videos look all straight laced and professional. (not that they were that amazing to begin with) Now this doesn’t mean that I no longer care about the quality, because I still intend to deliver high value, but I want to approach each video with a more personal feel to it. So you’ll probably notice some changes in the way I deliver the content but like I said, I’m not going to let it affect the quality of content I produce.

So anyway, please enjoy the video and make sure to stop by our Facebook Fan Page and let us know what you think.

Later,

Here’s an awesome video on proper settings for your DSLR camera. If you’re wanting high quality professional looking videos then a DSLR camera is defiantly the way to go. I LOVE mine but I’m an amateur at using it so my quality is no where near the level it should be. I’ve tried finding tutorials and help online for how to get the best configure out of my camera but I can only seem to find bits and pieces of information.

If you’re getting good results out of your DSLR then this could be an opportunity for you to make a really good amount of money. I personally know of literally hundreds of people that would be WAY interested in a product like this for teaching step by step how to get the best setting out of your camera.

But anyway, I thought this short video was PACKED full of amazing information for your camera settings so I wanted to share this with you.

Take care,

This seems to be a kind of popular question because more and more people are starting to use separate audio recording devices when they shoot their videos. So if you shot a video and you decide to use some kind of external audio recorder then you’ll end up with two files (one from your video and one from your audio). So how do you match the two files up correctly so that the audio sync’s up with what you’re seeing on the video?

In today’s video I’m going to walk you a simple way to sync both files and how exactly to match the two files into one.

We’re all in this business to reach a common goal…to succeed, but if you spend too much time getting tunnel vision on one area then you slow down your progress and you end up pushing your goals even further away.

Video Lighting is a lot more involved than you think. I use to just use the lights inside my house to shoot my videos and they always turned out horrible. They were either too dark or the colors were ugly and I had a difficult time making my videos look decent. Shooting outdoors is great because of all of that natural sunlight but once you bring it indoors then it’s a completely different ballgame.

The one thing I didn’t mention in this video is how important it is to manually white balance your camera (if you have the option) because that can be a big issue with how your videos turn out. I’m still learning about lighting and even though it’s getting better it’s still not close to studio perfection. But that’s part of what makes all this fun.

Ever wondered how to make money? Well I can tell you that making money online doesn’t mean that you just set up a website and then the money starts flowing in. Most beginners get confused with how exactly people are making money and it will be a long frustrating journey if you don’t know how it’s done. I went through this same problem and it took me forever to figure out how to do it but the truth is, making money is a gradual process that takes time by developing a huge following of people that will drive your business. So don’t expect to make money overnight or even in a few weeks, realistically it will take you about 6-8 months of consistent work till you start seeing results.

My best advise is to find something you’re passionate about then put in 100% and have fun with it, don’t focus on the money just have fun with it and let it build from there. If you have something that you truly love to do, your business will unfold quicker than you think.

Well it looks like I've got another video for you and this time I wanna talk to you about the process of making money online because this can be confusing and so many people want to make money in this industry but they're not quit sure how exactly it's being done. And I totally totally understand how frustrating it can be to make any money if you're not going through the right process. This is actually something that I struggled with big time in the beginning, because it wasn't like there's entire sites out there dedicated to teaching this stuff so sometimes takes awhile to kinda figure everything out. So I'll try not to make things too boring during this video but I do wanna cover 4 elements that will teach you the process of how money is made on the internet. Granted I'm not promising you that you'll make money for doing just these 4 steps, big suprise here you have to actually put in work to become successful...who knew. So again all this is going to depend on how much work you put into it. I know trust me I know working sucks, it be great to sit around all day and fish and hanging out with your buddies and get paid for it but an internet business doesn't work that way. And it's no different than any other business, you know you have actually show up and put work into it to make it successful. So the first step is to come up with an idea. Really it's best to create a business around something that you're already knowledgeable in or at least have a huge interest in. And the reason why you wanna do this is because it will keep you going throughout your business and keep you from burning out or quitting. And personally I believe that you really need to have a lot of passion for what you do so it becomes fun instead of feeling like something that you HAVE to do. You have to go to work. But the easiest way that I've found to come up with ideas is to do lots of research. Now mainly you need to do research to make sure that your business is something that's in demand to begin with. Because obviously if there's no demand for what you do then it will be really hard to make any money. But you also need to do your research to find out what people want, and a good way is to start by Googling different topics and see what the demand is like. So you can check out forums or blogs or even Facebook but what you wanna do is look around for things that interest you and also have a high demand within the industry. So generally things that a lot of people are talking about. The next element that you have to have is a store front, this is important, and what I mean by this is that you need to set up a website or a blog. And I have voiced my opinion several times on how I feel blogs dominate websites because there is much more interaction and it breeds a more personal connection between everybody, but thats my opinion. So it's gonna be your choice for which one you wanna go with. So you have to have a fully functional site set up so you can operate your business, and if your don't know how to set this up don't worry it's actually very simple, and I actually show how to do all this stuff in my 6 part video guide called Beginners Blueprint. Like how I kinda slipped that in there? I know it kind of sounds like i'm doing a sales pitch here but I'm honestly not I'm not trying to make this sound like a sales pitch or anything crazy like that, this really is 100% free and you can learn everything you need to know step by step with screen capture videos. So if you do need help setting up a fully functional site then you can get access to these videos through my site at CharlesRivera.com, or if you already know how to do all this stuff then great you're already a few steps ahead. But that's going to be a huge element to making money online is making sure that you have a complete website. Or a complete blog whichever. Ok so the 3rd element to making money online will be getting people to come to your site. You have to have people to keep your business going there's no way around that. And if you've found a way please let me know. And this is probably the most difficult part for any internet marketer because when you think about how big the Internet is and all the millions of people that use it everyday, and how you have this one tiny little website that people haven't even heard of yet. So it's kinda like that old analogy of a small fish in a big pond, or in this case it's more a small fish in the entire ocean. But that's ok that just means that you can't settle for being average, you have to actually push your way to the top by gaining popularity. So one of the easiest ways to bring in a lot of traffic right now is through social media, Facebook and Youtube in particular. Twitter may help a little but Facebook and Youtube are a much better place to focus your efforts. And without going real indepth on all the details for gaining traffic to your site, cause there's a lot of them, I'll just quickly talk about these two media outlets for right now. Alright Facebook, as you know, is a social giant and if you're not using Facebook then you're really missing out on tons of traffic. So you're gonna need to set up whats called a Fan Page and also check into creating a group or actively participating in targeted groups. Because the key to generating quality traffic is gonna really rely on focusing on your targeted audience. So along those same lines involves being active throughout Facebook with lots of comments, lots of useful comments mind you, and of course interactions. Because that's what SOCIAL networkings all about? Being social. The other area to focus on is Youtube and we all know how much of a video monster Youtube is so yes this means you gotta break out of your little shell and shoot some videos, probably of yourself. I know, It's a little scary, but actually the more you shoot the videos the quicker you get over that fear and Youtube in itself can drive tons of traffic to your site. Because you know, what better place to build that person to person connection, kind of, than with video where they can somewhat kinda meet you up close and get a good feel for what kind of person you are and what kinda stuff you can do for them. It's amazing tool. And then the 4th Element to the process of making money online is building a connection and maintaining that connection with your customers or friends as I like to call them. Because that's essentially what we're doing here is building friendships and trust to fuel our business. And this is actually done in a few different ways, like personally answering their emails which I'm really big on I enjoy answering everybody's emails, getting involved in comments on your blog, sending emails through your autoresponder, interacting through your social media pages like we just talked about Facebook and stuff, and of course the biggest one biggest one of all providing lots of value. Giving them lots of quality information that benefits them. So I know that's kind of a very brief overview of the process to making money online but it's important that you follow this process and be consistent with your business, that could actually be another element to this whole process, staying constant with your business no matter what the results just keep going. So again just to quickly recap, the process to making money online is an idea your niche, creating a website or a blog, generating traffic to your site, and then relationship building. So apply these 4 elements to your business and consistently keep working at it and you WILL see results. Thanks for watching I hope you enjoyed this video and if you have any ideas that I didn't cover, which you probably do, please leave your comments below and let us all know we'd love to hear it.
